Set your clocks, pump up those tyres, and dust off your helmets! Daylight savings is here, which means nature has officially granted us extra evening light—nature’s subtly unsubtle way of telling you to spend less time on the couch and more time on the bike.

To celebrate the return of sunlit rides, your beloved KCC committee has cooked up something special for the upcoming Spring Season starting Tuesday, 27th October.

🎉 The Big News: Members Race for FREE!

Yes, you read that right. Your committee went wild, threw budget conservatism out the window, and decided that Tuesday night racing is now 100% FREE for all financial KCC members! (Non-members, don't worry—you can still join the party for just $10 per race).

Members: Just flash your shiny KCC membership card at registration like a VIP at an exclusive club, and you’re good to roll.

Not a member yet? Why pay per race when you can join the best cycling club around? 2027 memberships open on 1st October at an absolute steal:

• 💸 Adults: $60

• 👧 Juniors (Under 19): $30

(Do the math: a few Tuesday nights and your membership practically pays for itself!)

🎁 But Wait, There’s More!

Every member who finishes the pre-Christmas crits earns 1 point per race carried forward to the formal summer series starting in the new year. Finish all 8 races? You’ll walk into 2027 with 8 points already in the bank! 📈💰

⚡ Powered by SearleTech!

We are thrilled to announce that our legendary Crit Series is once again proudly sponsored by Mike Searle at SearleTech!

A huge thank you to Mike for his continued backing of local racing—be sure to give him some love and support the businesses that keep our wheels turning!

🗓️ Spring Season Race Calendar (All races 6:15 PM – 7:45 PM)

Mark your calendars, set your reminders, and warn your family that Tuesdays belong to the tarmac:

🤝 We Need Your Heroic Helping Hands!

Racing doesn't happen by magic (though it sometimes feels like it). We need awesome volunteers to keep things running safely and smoothly:

• 🛠️ Can you help with course set-up? Reach out to Richard at kapiticc.committee.richard@gmail.com

• 🚩 Can you stand proud with a flag as a marshal? Drop a line to Phil at kapiticc.committee.phil@gmail.com

See you all on the start line on the 27th—let’s make this spring season our best one yet! 🚴💨
