After a week of intense weather-app watching, the final race of the series (the postponed Race 1) was completed on dry roads in warm, windy spring-like conditions.
Unfortunately. the timing system had a rare meltdown - so the results for the race were built up from photos and with the help of those present at prizegiving. We can't offer any race times and haven't recorded the results of full top 10 in each grade, but we have captured enough to ensure that the Series points are correct. If you spot anything wrong, or would like to add information to make the results more complete - please let us know!* In the end, there were some super close results in the series and even a tie!
Big plug for sponsors Tineli, who enabled us to award over $1500 in prizes to the series winners, plus Grade leaders' jerseys.
We're super thankful to so many people for the countless hours which go into making the series a safe and (we hope!) enjoyable experience. The Committee is super grateful for the help from so many people who pitched in, lent a hand, and helped with things officially and unofficially - such as staying back to clean up after prizegiving, to laying out and picking up over 100 cones each race, marshalling traffic, taking photos etc. Over the series 179 riders pinned on a number - some in their first race. We've made a healthy donation to the Te Horo Volunteer Fire brigade for the use of their upstairs room for registration and prize giving.

PS Pictured in the Kapiti jersey is Richard Graham, who never made it to a single prizegiving this year. Richard led the course set-up team, who were busy collecting in all the cones and signs. An entire horse-float and trailer full. We saved him a Toffee Pop for later.
