Both Euan and Jonny Holtam are regular riders at the Wellington Velodrome and the experience of both of them is that the racing and training opportunities provided by the two clubs are both fulfilling and complimentary.
And thanks to Jonny in particular, we now have an even more logistically complimentary calendar with the track.
The weekly endurance session (endurance events on the track traditionally suit road cyclists, think Lotte Kopecky, Fillipo Ganna, Aaron Gate, Mark Cavendish) have been moved to Thursday evening from 6:30pm (so there's a recovery day between Tuesday evening Kapiti racing).
These sessions alternate between an evening of motorpacing and an evening of scratch racing/team pursuit skills every other week.
PNP has 6 major carnivals throughout the season and one Junior carnival. Every Sunday afternoon we have more casual club racing.
Every Wednesday evening we have a women's session and a rookie session. Both led by an experienced coach.
