Welcome to the web presence of the Kapiti Cycling Club. This is the place you can find all you need to know about the resurgence of our club and what we are collectively doing to promote road riding and racing on the beautiful Kapiti Coast of New Zealand. Click here to see an introductory brochure that will give you a quick summary of what we are about. We are the re-formation of a much older club with a proud history. After several years in recession the club was re-formed in 2006 – with the aim being to bring the coast's many cyclists together. This was achieved - and then some – with the membership of the club growing from 0 to 100 in it's first year back. We hold regular training rides throughout the year. A summer series of racing – during daylight saving time, that's carried out using a handicap system. And we also host a couple of road races. We cater to all levels of road cyclist – from those who just want to complete the Round Taupo Cycle Challenge – to those that want to compete nationally and internationally.
