A brisk ride last week,  a virtually none stop canter up to Otaki Beach with a bit of a breeze and a few showers to keep us moving. Some had the impression that it would be a bit of a recovery ride after the club nationals, but a fairly relentless pace put paid to that notion. I'm away for the next few weeks, so Lee has put a plan in place for April, focused on the build up to the club nationals.

The plan for the next few weeks is for flatter rides in the 70-90km range with variants of the Te Horo, Otaki Beach, Otaki racecourse and Waitohu Valley Rd routes.
