Howdy

No racing this Saturday!

So for those not heading up to the handcycling event in Te Horo (click here  for the details) - the plan is to put in a quicker ride on Saturday just to keep things progressing along.  It won't be as quick as the Saturday pain train rides last year - but the plan is to up the speed a bit and get the paceline rotating nicely.  Approx 60km - up to Otaki bridge and return.

Sunday is the 1st of the month so that means an Aka's loop for the 9am bunch.  The plan that we made a while back calls for an Aka's plus blue mountains ride which clocks in at roughly 107km.

If anyone want's to  travel further afield - there's also an event on in Palmerston North on Saturday also.  We had a few Palmy riders down for the Winter Series - so it'd be great to reciprocate.  Click here and here for the details.

And don't forget that there's a ride on the track on Thursday night - Dave and I will be heading up leaving at 5pm from Brien Electrical in Ihakara Street.  We went up a couple of weeks ago and it was a great experience.  Beautifully smooth and quiet and as fast as you want to make it.  There's a $3 charge to cover the lights.

So plenty of things to keep us busy...

Adrian.
