Just a heads up that there will be an option on Sunday is to do a quicker Akas loop with a few extra kms thrown in when we return. The idea is to push it along - so It'll be around 3:30 pace. The pain train will be leaving as usual at 8 on Saturday and the 805's will be doing their thing on Sunday. Plenty on for everyone. Have a great weekend. Adrian.

You may not think it but this training will help you so much, yes its hard yes it hurts but you can such benifit from it greg | Comment by GUEST on 2010-03-07 18:29:09 hi thanks for the ride this morning...i started with the 3.30 pace group but of course i got dropped going down the hill on other side of paek hill...a couple of guys waited for me...i got home and was plesantly surprise to see that i had done 97km in 3hr 45mins..I did the kapiti cycle challenge in 3hr 57mins last year..so was really please with the time today...so thanks to the 2 guys that waited for me everytime i dropped back a bit...it does pay to go with fast group and just see how far you can go...i know ive definitly improved over the last few months just by pushing myself to go with faster people.....Dianna | Comment by merlin on 2010-03-08 07:28:36 Actually Dianna you may have done about 3:30 pace 2 weeks ago, despite headwinds - when I got home yesterday I was surprised to find my actual riding time was about the same as 2 weeks ago, and I wasn't waiting that time...
