There's some good racing on this Sunday (28th) in Te Horo. It's the 4th race in the series of Wellington region - interclub races. The series is running on a handicap format this year. There's a level for absolutely everyone - so If you havent' raced a longer race than our regular Tuesday night racing before - please come and give it a try. (Nice flat course!) You don't have to have taken part in the other races in the series to give this a go.

Racing gets underway at 10am. DISTANCE: It's 80km race - being 4 laps of the out and back circuit. TRANSPONDERS: We will be using the electronic timing system - so please bring your transponder if you have one. If you don't have a transponder you can use a guest one for the day. ENTRY: $5 (cash only) PRIZES: We'll be puting up cash prizes for those home first on both handicap and fastest time. PRIZEGIVING: Please hang around afterwards for a quick cuppa and a bite to eat in hall at the start finish. It's fantastic that we have these interclub events - and it gives people the opportunity to meet some new faces from outside of their own club. We will endeavour to get it underway as quickly as possible after the event. Everyone - including family and friends are invited and most welcome to share a quick bite. This is the last event in the series - so the prize giving will feature the days awards plus the series prizes. Club members bring a plate: Can we ask all Club members coming up to bring a plate for the prizegiving. We'll see you on Sunday.
