Hi Folks

Thanks for your comments.

We have had a  look at the Peka Peka circuit  and have agreed on a couple of changes. Nothing to serious.

1. The start finish line has been moved  300 meters south. The road is slightly wider but mainly to reduce the congestion around the start/finish and Peka Peka intersection. This also gives any  traffic driving south more time to see the on coming finishing bunches. After your final sprint finish can riders turn left down Peka Peka road towards the beach and continue there warm down ride few a few minutes until the final sprints are done and everyone is home

2. The north turn around point has been moved back about 500m to the intersection of Peka Peka road and Kensigton road on your right. A much wider turn around point.

Marshals. We must have two marshals on each turn around point. One marshal looking towards the on coming riders and directing them around the first cone. The second marshal  needs to politely stop any on coming traffic when bunches are approaching the turn around.

Parking. Can vehicles please be parked as far left as possible and kept clear of the registration and start finish areas. Thanks

Cheers

Dave

Hi John, Don't avoid riding tonight ...we have six marshals on the roster for this week. I think Dave's note is more about what the marshals do, rather a call for this week. We do need marshals for the next couple of weeks though..

Cheers

Further to Chris's comment above - the marshall roster is viewable on the Marshalling Roster menu button on the right of this article. Check it out and make sure you put your name down to help.
