The Marshalling list has been published for a few weeks now, and there are still a very large number of gaps evident. If you did not marshalbefore Christmas, please do the right thing and put your name down.
The the race to start this week, we need 2 more marshals. If you could record your name in the comments section and the week you can marshal, (either here, or on the 2010 post Christmas Marshal roster page) that would be appreciated.

However, looking at the marshall roster, it seems to be the same names doing the bulk of the marshalling and this has been the case for some time. Some friends and family have been roped in as marshalls to help us out.
It's very easy to compare who is a regular Tuesday rider and who hasn't marshalled. Cheers Clive B

This approach is simply the start, by asking people to nominate when it suits them. If people don't put their hand up, or its always the same people...then the races will not occur. Quite simple really.
I can't make people marshal, and quite frankly, I've got better things to do than cajole people and play policeman. It's the whole essense of what a club is about; that everyone pitches in. You are absolutely right that it doesn't take much for people to do a bit.
