Thanks for the welcome! Happy with the title "madman", but I'm sure that it should be shared with most of the Kapiti Cycling Club. "Lie in and have weekend breakfast in bed" OR "Get up early to thrash yourselves on the road" - most of us would think that the latter was the sane, rational person choice! Say no more! :-)

Bit harsh to call him a madman! Seems to me that it should be focused or determined or single minded or driven - or just keen on endurance riding. Doesn't make you a madman...
