February / March is a busy time for us cyclists. Along with the normal Tuesday night races, and Saturday / Sunday rides there is a number of events on within easy reach of home, including the Kapiti Cycle Challenge. I've tried to catch as many of them as I know about and have added them to the calendar. Feel free to let me know of others.

Summer series race 3 on the PekaPeka circuit

 

Sunday 26th Feb

Gran Fondo Fun Ride . This is a fun ride as part of the Tour of NZ being run on Sunday morning from Ashurst and finishing in time for you to watch the end of the womens road race.  

 

Tuesday 28th Feb

Summer series race 4 on the PekaPeka circuit

 

Saturday 3rd March

Interclub Race #3 beging hosted by PNP at Trentham.

 

Tuesday 6th March

12km individual Time Trial

 

Sunday 11th March

The Hospi charity fun ride from Kenepuru to Wellington Hospitals via Makara. http://hospibikeride.co.nz/ . This is a great fun ride supporting a great charity. There's heaps of parking at Kenepuru and it's a nice gentle 20km ride back to the cars.

Summer series race 5 on the Park ave circuit

 

Sunday 18th March

The iconic kapiti Cycle Challenge. Time to put yourself to the test and set a PB in a great bunch ride around the block.  http://www.kapiticyclechallenge.co.nz/
